Every member wore the same ragged scraps of cloth. Everyone had to prove themselves before they could ascend and wear the holy robes. At least, that was what they told them. In reality, they were but mere puppets, barely worth more than a common slave. Their blindfolds represented their unworthiness to the Church, with them not even being allowed to see as their vision was still corrupted by sin. Their duties consisted of gathering artifacts, punishing those who did not follow their torturous religion, and carrying the holy candles for the higher members of the Church.
